MISHAWAKA - Services for Eleonore E.
Schaefer, 76, of 55315 Cedar Trail, who died at 4:15 a.m.
Friday in her residence after an illness, will be at 11 a.m.
Monday in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Osceola. Burial will be in
Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Memorial contributions may
be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County.
Mrs. Schaefer was a retired cafeteria worker
for P-H-M School Corp. She was born Sept. 30, 1919, in Hannover,
Germany, and lived here for 44 years.
On Nov. 16, 1952, in South Bend, she married
William Schaefer. He died in 1982. Surviving are a daughter,
Barbara Kelley of Gallatin, Tenn.; two sons, William Jr.
of Portage, and Richard of Mishawaka; 10 grandchildren; six
great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Anne Marie Menzen,
Franzeska Stockmann and Ursela Stadermann, all of
Hannover. A daughter preceded her in death. She was a member of
Memorial Presbyterian Church, South Bend.
