Services for Ruby
V. Schafer, 88, of Countryside Place, Mishawaka, formerly of
South Bend, who died Monday morning in the nursing home, will be
at 10 a.m. Friday in Southlawn Cemetery. There will be no
visitation. Weksheimer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Zion United Church of
Christ.
She was born May 25,
1900 in Mishawaka and was a lifetime area resident. On Nov. 28,
1931 she married Phillip O. Schafer. He died in 1971. She is
survived by a daughter, Freda Ann Schafer of Milwaukee; and two
sisters, Ruth Wiley and Grace Schalliol, both of
Mishawaka.
