Allen T. Schalliol

June 5, 1916 – April 18, 1959

MISHAWAKA - A half ton truck crashed through a billboard two miles south of Mishawaka this morning when a man identified as Allen Schalliol, 42, of 207 E. 675 Street, Mishawaka, the driver, died at the wheel after suffering what was believed to be a heart attack.

 

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Andrew’s  United Church of Christ Evangelical and Reformed. Rev. Donald T. Calvert, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Sunday in the Bubb Chapel.

 

He was born in Mishawaka and had lived here his entire life. His occupation was that of a farmer. He was a member of the Penn Twp. Democratic Club.

 

He married the fomer Jean Bartlett on March 23, 1944 in this city. She survives. Also surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Todd Schalliol of South Bend; two daughters, Mary Jo and Susan Ann, both at home, and one brother, Roger D. Scahlliol of Mishawaka.
