Grace B. Schalliol, 99, of Countryside Place, died at 3:15 p.m. in the nursing home. Mrs. Schalliol was born Aug. 19, 1989 in St. Joseph County and was a lifelong area resident.

On June 30, 1915, in St. Joseph County as Grace B. Battles, she married Walter E. Schalliol, who died in 1982. She is survived by a daughter-in-law, June Schalliol of Mishawaka; two grandchildren; and a sister, Ruth Wiley of Mishawaka. She was preceded in death by a son, Eldon R. and two great-grandsons.

Services for Grace B. Schalliol, 99, of Countryside Place, who died Sunday afternoon in the nursing home will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. Andrew’s United Church of Christ. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call two hours before services in the church. Bubb Funeral Chapel North is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include two great-grandsons. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
