Mrs. Mabel Schalliol, 71, of Wakarusa, died in St. Joseph Hospital, Mishawaka Sunday.

She was born on May 20, 1895 In Madison Township and married Grover Schalliol on Dec. 18, 1917 in St. Joseph County. Surviving with her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Dorothy) Wenger and Mrs. Otho (Norma) Maurer of Wakarusa; two sisters, Mrs. John Getz of Morton, Ill. and Mrs. Eva Huff of South Bend, and a brother, Walter Scherer of Wenatchee, Wash.

Friends amy call at the Lienhart Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Tuesday and until services there at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Dr. Ben Strohbehn of the First Christian Church will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, St. Joseph County.
