SOUTH BEND – Patricia Joan Schalliol, 54, of 18384 Cleveland Road, was killed early Thursday during an apparent robbery in her home. She was a nurse at the Fountainview Nursing Homes in Mishawaka. She was born June 16, 1925 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and had lived her most of her life.

 

On Sept. 14, 1947 in South Bend, she married Edgar R. Schalliol, who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Thomas E. of South Bend, D. Scott of Placentia, Calif., and Mark S. of Waukegan, Ill.; two grandchildren; a sister Mrs. Elizabeth Moran of San Jose, Calif., and a brother Dr. Robert Crawford of Upland Calif.

 

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in St. Andrew’s United Church of Christ, Mishawaka. Dr. C. Dwayne Dollgerer, pastor will officiate. Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday in the church, She was a member of the church and its choir and a past president of the Northside Elementary School PTA in Mishawaka. She was a graduate of South Bend Central High School and St. Likes’ School of Nursing, Chicago. Memorial contributions made be made to the church.
