SOUTH BEND – Ronald Lee Schalliol,
32, of 52655 Marks Street, died of gunshot wounds Tuesday night
or early Wednesday in a Niles home. He was a mechanic employed by
Rick’s Phillips 66, at Auten Road and US 33. He was born
Jan. 20, 1958 in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.
On Feb. 22, 1986 in South Bend he married
Liz Long. She survives along with a daughter, Brandy, at
home; a son T. J. Long-Schalliol at home; a brother David of
South Bend; and his parents, Bonnie (Ersnsperger) and
Merlin Schalliol of South Bend.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at
Hollis-Orvis-Palmer Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in St. Joseph
Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 4 to 8
Friday at the funeral home.
