Rosina Schalliol

MISHAWAKA – Mrs. Rosina Schalliol, 84, of 801 S. Main Street, died at 4 a.m. today in St. Joseph Hospital where she had been confined for the last month. Born April 28, 1881 in Van Wert County, Ohio, Rosina Giessler married Charles D. Schalliol in that county, Sept. 8, 1904. She has resided in Mishawaka for more than 50 years.

 

Surviving are her husband; six sons, Wilbur J., Richard and Robert Schalliol, all of Mishawaka; Paul M. of Washington, Ind.; Herbert C Schalliol of Denver, Colo. and Edgar R. Schalliol of South Bend; a daughter, Mrs. J. Lloyd Mossey of Mishawaka; three sisters, Mrs. Ralph Parlette of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Mrs. Herman Giessler nad Mis Martha Giessler, both of Van Wert; a brother Martin Giessler of Van Wert; 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

 

Friends may call in the Bubb Funeral Chapel after noon Sunday. Mrs. Schalliol was a member of the St. Andrew’s United Church of Christ.

Funeral services for Mrs. Charles D. Schalliol, 84, of 801 S. Main Street, who died Saturday morning will be at 2 p.m. in St. Andrew’s United Church of Christ. Rev. Donald T. Grunwald, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 11 a.m. today until the services.
