Russell A. Schaubert, 68, of Cedar Road, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away on Saturday, Dec. 30, in Saint Joseph's Community Hospital, Mishawaka. Mr. Schaubert was born on Aug. 19, 1932, in Elgin, Ill., to the late Russell and Glennie (Groves) Schaubert. He was also preceded in death by a son, Robert E. Schaubert. On Nov. 17, 1951, Mr. Schaubert married Margaret Mayrose in South Bend. She survives. He is also survived by a son, Daniel R. Schaubert and his wife, Rhonda of Edwardsburg, Mich.; a daughter, Patricia A. Barrier and her husband, Richard; a sister, Reba Trybula and her husband, Richard of Toledo, Ohio; and by six grandchildren, Keri, Kristen and Daniel Schaubert, Ricky Barrier, and Bethany and Christine Schaubert. Mr. Schaubert was a graduate of John Adams High School, South Bend. He was employed by IBEW Local Union #153 in South Bend as an electrician for many years, retiring in 1985. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge in South Bend, the BK Club in Mishawaka as well as Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Mishawaka.
