Dennis L. Scheibelhut, 46, of 11849 Willard Drive, Mishawaka. died Monday afternoon (Sept. 25, 1989) at Memorial Hospital, South Bend where he was taken from work at Midland Engineering.

He was born June 30, 1943 in Mishawaka. He married Peggy L. Emmert on July 10, 1965 in Mishawaka. She survives with three daughters, Kellie L., Jill L. and Erin L., all at home; his parents Leo and Marjorie Scheibelhut; a brother, Charles M., Mishawaka; and two sisters, Barbara Armour, Granger and Kathryn Ernst, Mishawaka.

Friends may call at 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. today at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Osceola, where services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Larry Kurst of Osceola United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.

Mr. Scheibelhut worked at Riblet Products, in Elkhart, for 16 years, and began work with Midland Engineering a couple of weeks ago. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local 20 and the Osceola United Methodist Church. In addition he had volunteered with the Osceola Little League for more than 20 years, working as girls softball team manager and players agent, executive vice president of the league and equipment manager.

Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
