Robert Lee Scheibelhut

Sept. 27, 1920 – Dec. 15, 1992

Private services will be held for Robert L. Scheibelhut, 72, of Karl King Towers, who was found dead in his home Monday of natural causes. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. There will be no visitation. Zahoran Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Scheibelhut retired from Kmart Corp., and was an employee of the former Studebaker Corp. and Avanti Corp. He was born Sept. 27, 1920 in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.

He is survived by two daughters, Virginia Hiatt of Granger and Mary Ann Scheibelhut of South Bend; a son, Robert Jr., of South Bend; fore grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four sisters, Margaret Pocza, Catherine Roncz, Rita Hoffman, and Joan Horvath, all of South Bend; and a brother George of Los Angeles. He was a veteran of World War II

A memorial mass for Robert L. Scheibelhut, 72, of Karl King Towers, who died Dec. 14 in his home, will be held at 10:a.m. Tuesday in Our Lady of HungaryCatholic Church. Burial has taken place in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
