Mrs. Jean Mabel Scheuer, 79, of 826 E. Colfax ave., died at 10:30 am Saturday in the Osteopathic Hospital. Born Oct. 21, 1891, in South Bend, she resided here her lifetime. In 1909 she was married to Elmer C. Uncapher, who died in 1931. She was later married to Albert Scheuer. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Albert Walter of Elkhart; a grandson, Albert Walter, Jr, of Elkhart; two sisters, Mrs. Glenna O'Dell of South Bend and Mrs. Ethel Dunham of Flint, Mich. Friends may call after 7 pm today at the Hollis Funeral Home, South Bend chapel. Services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday in the funeral home, Rev. Edgar D. Erkine, pastor of Haris Prairie Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Sauktown Cemetery, Mill Creek, Ind. She was a member of the South Bend Senior Citizens.
