SOUTH BEND - Dorothy G. Schlarb, 79, of Norton Drive, South Bend, Ind., died on Friday morning, Nov. 21, in her residence. Dorothy was born in Berne, Ind., to William and Marie (Stout) Bixler, and lived most of her life in South Bend.
On Oct. 31, 1936, Dorothy married Ralph Schlarb in South Bend. He survives. She is also survived by a daughter, Sue Hensley of Mishawaka, Ind.; a son, Bill Schlarb of South Bend; and by three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Dorothy spent her life as a wife and mother.
Funeral services for Dorothy G. Schlarb will be at 1 p.m. on Monday at the Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, with the Rev. Don Neely officiating. Burial will take place at Southlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home.
