Edward Schmidt

MISHAWAKA - Edward Schmidt, 61, of
Chicago, and formerly of Mishawaka, died at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in
St. Mary's Hospital, Chicago, after an illness. Mr. Schmidt was a
self-employed photographer for 30 years. He was born May 2, 1932,
in Mishawaka. Surviving are a son, Jason E. of Des Plaines, Ill.;
his parents, Kenneth E. and Marzette Dohner Schmidt of
Mishawaka; and a sister, Heidi Bennett of Grand Rapids. He
was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, South Bend.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in
Redeemer Lutheran Church. Burial will be in City Cemetery.
Friends may call one hour before services in the church. Bubb
Funeral Home North is in charge of arrangements. Memorial
contributions may be made to the church or Bethesda Lutheran
Home, 700 Hoffman Drive, Watertown, Wis., 53094.
