SOUTH BEND - Robert Marion Schosker Sr., 78, of East Milton Street, died at 9:20 p.m. Friday in Memorial Hospital of natural causes. Mr. Schosker retired in 1981 from Troeger Sheet Metal Co.

He was born June 24, 1915, in South Bend and was a lifelong resident. On Nov. 11, 1942, in El Paso, Texas, he married Elsie Marie Depaepe. She survives with a daughter, Rebecca E. Clark of Niles; a son, Robert M. Jr. of South Bend; five grandchildren; two sisters, Pat Kamp of Madison, Tenn., and Helen Tovey of Biloxi, Miss.; and two brothers, Richard of South Bend and Budd of Buchanan. He was a member of Local 20 Sheet Metal Workers Association for over 44 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II, and awarded four citations and the Bronz Star for South Pacific campaigns.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 1201 S. Michigan St. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society
