William J. Schreiner (Dec. 21, 1912 - July 12, 1996)

SOUTH BEND - William J. Schreiner, 83, of 20531 Darden Road, passed away at 7:50 a.m. Friday, July 12, in Healthwin Hospital, South Bend.

Mr. Schreiner worked for many years as a factory worker with Studebaker Corporation.

He was born to Joseph and Rose (Kish) Schreiner on Dec. 21, 1912, in South Bend and was a lifelong resident. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He is survived by two nieces, Rose Schwocho of Allen Park, Mich. and Erma Rzepnicki of South Bend. Three nephews, Joseph and Richard Pusztai, both of South Bend, and Ernest Horvath of Allen Park, Mich.

Graveside services will be held at 11:15 a.m. Monday, July 15, in Highland Cemetery.

Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday in Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 North Bendix Drive, (219-277-4444).
