SOUTH BEND - Services for James Scott,
78, of 2629 Newcomb St., who died at 7:11 a.m. Thursday in St.
Joseph's Medical Center, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Christ
Temple Church of God in Christ. Burial will be in Chapel Hill
Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m.
Tuesday in Alford's Mortuary.
Mr. Scott retired from Rieth-Riley
Construction Co. He was born Oct. 6, 1917, in Forrest City, Ark.
His wife, Ocie Lee Scott, died in 1945. He is survived by a
daughter, Rozalyn R. Robinson of Newport News, Va.; a son,
Renard Robinson of South Bend; two grandchidren; three sisters,
Mildred Howell of South Bend, Estelle Johnson of
Gary, and Emly Hall of Chicago; and a brother, Willis of
South Bend. He was a veteran of the Navy.
