SOUTH BEND - Alberta M. Sebens, 83, of Lincoln Way West, died of natural causes about 6 a.m. Monday in her home. Mrs. Sebens was born Jan. 19, 1910, in Three Oaks, and lived in South Bend since 1942, coming from Michigan.

On Feb. 6, 1934, in South Bend, as Alberta Klute, she married Clarence Sebens. He died March 5, 1982. She is survived by a daughter, Delores Smith of South Bend; a son, Robert of South Bend; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Elizabeth Freehling of Three Oaks. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star Chapter 2.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 1201 S. Michigan St. Burial will be in New Troy (Mich.) Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
