SOUTH BEND - Mary M. Seeger, 94, of South Bend, died Thursday, May 29, in Woodland Manor, Elkhart. She was born August 13, 1913, in Mishawaka, to Clarence and Margaret (Joyce) Klein. On September 10, 1963, in South Bend, she married Jacob "Jake" Seeger, who died November 20, 2004. A sister, Kathleen Good, and three brothers, William, Richard and Paul Klein, preceded her in death. Mary was a secretary to Dr. Jardin with the South Bend Public Schools for over 10 years. Surviving are a son, James (Mary Jo) Carter of Osceola; four grandchildren, Christine (Scott) Eggers, J. Michael (Sharron) Carter, Catherine (Robert) Gentry and Michele (David) Vantubbergen; four great-granddaughters and a great-great-grandson.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday June 2, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, South Bend. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. Friends may call from 1 to 4 p.m. today, June 1, in the HICKEY Funeral Homes, 3516 E.
