  Mrs. Louisa Seeler aged 78 of 408 Sherman Avenue, died in her home at 6:30 a.m. today after two weeks of illness. She was born in Sturgis, Mich. Oct 4, 1864, and came here 65 years ago. She was married here in 1880 to George Seeler, who survives. She leaves also two daughters Mrs Guy Wauvle, of Maple Rapids, Mich. and Mrs C.F. Beatty, Hammond, Ind. two sons George H. Seeler and Elva Seeler, South Bend; six Grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs Carrie Miller, Sturgis. She was a member of Grace Evangelical Church. Friends will be received in the Willis-Joyce funeral home.

 

 

A funeral notice appeared in the 2 March, 1943 paper

 

The funeral of Mrs Louisa Seeler, 408 Sherman Avenue, will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Grace Evangelical Church with Rev. E. Knight Worth, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in city cemetery. Friends will be received in the Willis-Joyce funeral home until noon Wednesday when the body will be taken to the church to lie from 1 to 2 o’clock.
