Mrs. Edith Seifert

July 15, 1886November 15, 1946

 

Mrs. Edith Seifert, aged 60, of 308 East Wenger Street, died at 10:30am Friday of a heart attack in St Joseph infirmary where she had been a patient for several months.  She was ill several years.

 

Born in South Bend, July 15, 1886, she spent her entire life here.  On August 9, 1905, in South Bend, as Edith Timm, she was married to Albert Seifert, who died in January 1930.  Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Seifert and Mrs. Clara Gerard, both of South Bend.

 

Friends may call in the residence after 7pm today and until 11am Monday when the body will be taken to the Hay Funeral Home to lie from noon until funeral services there at 2pm.  Rev. Waldemar Goffeney, pastor of Zion Evangelical Church, of which she was a member, will officiate.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
