GRANGER - A memorial service for Daniel
Joseph Selsor, 23, of Palo Alto, Calif., formerly of Granger,
who died June 24 in an apparent suicide in San Francisco, will be
at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hollis-Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home, South
Bend. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until time of
services in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made
to Family & Children's Center, Mishawaka, or Reins of Life.
He was a graduate student in philosophy at
Stanford University in Palo Alto. He was born Dec. 12, 1971, in
Madison, Wis. Surviving are his parents, Carolyn (Calandra) and
Thomas Selsor of Granger; a sister, Maria Selsor at home; two
brothers, Michael of South Bend and Andy of New York City;
maternal grandparents, Patricia and Joseph Calandra of
Skokie, Ill.; and paternal grandparents, June and Mark Selsor of
Granger. He graduated from Penn High School in 1990 and Columbia
University, New York, in 1994.
