Marjorie Seltzer

Marjorie Seltzer, 81, of 224 W. Colfax, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away Sunday, Oct. 3, in her home.

She was born July 25, 1923, in South Bend, Ind., the daughter of Theodore and Mini (Helm) Geldner.

On May 30, 1943, in Mishawaka, she married Donald E. Seltzer, who preceded her in death on June 27, 1990. Also preceding her in death but still along with us in loving memory are a brother-in-law, Darrell, a son, Vaughn, and a great-granddaughter, April.

Surviving family members are a brother, Albert (Lillie) Geldner of Mishawaka; a sister, Lucille Fetters of Rudyard, Mich.; a son, Gary; daughter-in-law, Melinda; four grandchildren, Vaughn R. II, Brent, Jason and Kristi; and six great-grandchildren, Emilee, Stephanie, Brittney, Joshua, Lucas and Vaughn R.J.

Marjorie was employed at Uniroyal/Ball Band of Mishawaka until her retirement in 1981. She was a very family-oriented and loving lady. Her passions included travel and nature, with special interests to birds and flowers.

The entire family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the caregivers that helped Marjorie live so comfortably through her final days.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Bubb's Funeral Home North, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday morning. Officiating will be Mr. Ronald Pinter. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, Ind.
