Dominic Serge

Dominic Serge, aged 55, of 1204 S. Spring Street, died of pneumonia at 2 o’clock Monday morning is St. Joseph Hospital, after a four days’ illness. He was born Oct. 12, 1883 in Platti, Italy and came here 11 years ago from Franklin, Pa.

 

He was married Dec. 29, 1913 in Plattie, to Miss Frances Carbone, who survives. Mr. Serge  s employed by the Studebaker Corporation of South Bend. Surviving besides his wife are two sons,  Joseph T. and Patsy Serge, and two daughters, Mary and Rose, all at home; a brother Anthony Serge of Franklin, Pa. And two sisters, Mrs. Patsy DeMarco of this city, and Miss Rose Serge of Franklin.

 

Funeral service took place Wednesday morning in St. Joseph Catholic Church and burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery. Mr. Serge was a member of the DeAmiel and Anita Garibardi societies.

 

Editor: His wife died in Tucson AZ 4-15-1977 at the age of 83.
