Josephine Serge

Mishawaka - Josephine Serge, 82, of Ronnies Drive, passed away Wednesday, February 9th, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend. Mrs. Serge was born on July 12, 1922, in Conversano, Italy, to Mr. and Mrs. John Stanisci. She arrived in Mishawaka, Indiana, in 1949.
On December 13, 1950, she married Joseph Serge, who preceded her in death on November 6, 1992. They resided in Mishawaka. Mrs. Serge was a member of St. Monica's Catholic Church as well as the DeAmici's Women's Auxiliary.
She is survived by her four children, Frank (Pam) Serge, Mary (Dan) Davis, John (Julia) Serge and Rose Creakbaum (fiancé, Dick Stanley); as well as her five grandchildren, Frank (Laura), Nicole and Katie Serge, Jason and Jessie Creakbaum. She is also survived by her sister, Lena Dominico of Conversano, Italy, and her sister-in-law, Lena Stanisci of Mishawaka.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 13th, 2005, from 2 to 6 p.m. in Bubb Funeral Chapel North in Mishawaka. A Rosary will be said at 3:30 p.m. Mass will be said at noon Monday, the 14th, at St. Monica's Catholic Church, Mishawaka.
