Tadeuz Sikora

Tadeuz "Ted" Sikora, 79, of Edison Road, South Bend, Ind., died at 3:50 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 25, in St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center. He was born on Nov. 24, 1920, in Lodz, Poland, and had lived in this area since 1950. Mr. Sikora retired in 1987 from Uniroyal, and was a life member of the Chain-O-Lakes Conservation Club.

 

On May 5, 1946, in Kassel' Hasenhenke, Germany, he married Diane Bergman, who preceded him in death on July 23, 1990. He is survived by two sons, Casimir (Lesa) Sikora of Granger, Ind., and George (Cindy) Sikora of New Carlisle, Ind.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and by a brother, Casimir Sikora of Poland.

 

Family and friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a Rosary will be said at 4 p.m. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday in St. Adalbert Catholic Church, with burial to follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Adalbert Catholic Church Building Fund.
