Mrs. Lottie Sikorski: (South Bend Tribune 5/1/1962)


Mrs. Lottie Sikorski, 70, of 710 S. Olive St., died at 3:15 p.m. Sunday in St. Joseph’s Hospital following an extended illness. Born on Oct. 8, 1891 in South Bend, she was married here on Oct. 14, 1913, to Stephen Sikorski, who survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Miss Henrietta, at home; Mrs. Lucille Tafelski and Mrs. Alice DiGirolamo; a son Clement; five grandchildren; a brother, John Walkowiak; six sisters, Mrs. Hattie Orzedhowski, Mrs. Mamie Pinkowski, Mrs. Stella Rogers, Mrs. Josephine Nowak, Mrs. Anna Kaminski, all of South Bend, and Sister Mary Henrietta, of the Holy Cross Order of Danville, Ill. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today in the St. Joseph Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Adalbert’s Catholic Church with Very Rev. Msgr. Ignatius J. Gapczynski, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Mrs. Sikorski was a member of Group 335, God and Country Society.
