22, 1922 - Mar. 7, 2010SOUTH BEND - Mildred Simcox, 87, of Anaheim, CA, formerly of South Bend, IN passed away Sunday, March 7, 2010 in Orange, CA. She retired from 1st Source Bank, South Bend from their loan department. Mildred was born on July 22, 1922 in Culver, IN to Alva and Pearl May (Freese) Salvage. On November 1, 1947 in South Bend, IN she married Ralph Simcox, who preceded her in death on March 22, 1995. Mrs. Simcox is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Keith Rapp of Anaheim, CA; her son, Gary Simcox of South Bend; two grandchildren, Kyle Frasure of Anaheim and Maggie Rose Simcox of South Bend; and one sister, Jean Lagan of Mesa, AZ. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Palmer Funeral Home - River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend. Rev. Greg Crump will officiate. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, South Bend, IN. Friends may visit with the family from 9:00 AM until time of services on Saturday in the funeral home.
