Fannie Singer

SOUTH BEND - Fannie Singer, 93, of Holy Cross Care & Rehabilitation Center, died at 11:15 p.m. Thursday in St. Joseph's Medical Center. Mrs. Singer was born May 22, 1902, in Russia and lived in South Bend most of her life. Her husband, Samuel Singer, died in 1952. She is survived by three nieces, Gloria Frank of South Bend, Nanci Clark of Baldwin Park, Calif., and Carol Rossman of Cleveland; five great-nieces; and one great-nephew. She was a member of Sisterhood of Sinai Synagogue, B'nai B'rith, and Hadassah.

 

Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday in Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood Drive. Burial will be in Hebrew Orthodox Cemetery, Mishawaka. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to the synagogue.
