Mrs. Fernando Sisti

March 5, 1919 – November 15, 1977

Mrs. Frances M. Sisti, 58, of 2027 S. Lafayette, died at 11:10am Tuesday in St Joseph’s Hospital after an extended illness.

She was born on March 5, 1919, in Elkhart and lived here 55 years.  On June 24, 1939, as Frances Fershin, she married Fernando Paul Sisti, who survives, along with a daughter, Mrs. Michael Albert of South Bend; two grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Malinowski of Santa Anna CA, and four brothers, Fredrick Fershin of Warsaw, Frank Fershin of Warren MI, and John Fershin of Santa Anna and Stephen Fershin of Elkhart.

Services will be at 10am Friday in Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church, with Msgr. John S. Sabo, pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.  Friends may call from 7 to 9pm today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Thursday in Zahoran’s Funeral Home.  A rosary will be recited by the Legion of Mary of Our Lady of Hungary Church at 7:15pm Thursday in the funeral home.
