Mary Siupinski: (South Bend Tribune 2/23/1962)

Mrs. Mary Siupinski, 59, of 1116 N. Elmer St., was dead on arrival at St. Joseph’s Hospital  at 5 p.m. Thursday after suffering a heart attack in her home. She had been ill three months. Born on Dec. 5, 1902, in South Bend, she was married in St. Casimir’s Catholic Church on Oct. 3, 1921, as Mary Michalski to John Siupinski. He survives with a son, Edward of South Bend; three grandchildren; two brothers, George and Casimir Michalski, and a sister, Mrs. Josephine Odynski, all of South Bend. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Saturday in the St. Joseph Funeral Chapel. Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday in St. Stanislaus Church with Rev. Sigmund A. Jankowski, C.S.C., pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Mrs. Siupinski was a member of the Woman’s Auxiliary to Haller’s Post and the Ladies Apostolic Society of St. Stanislaus parish.
