John W. Six Sr.

November 22, 1910 – March 18, 1993

John W. Six Sr., 82, of 204 E. Harrison St., died at 12:30am in St Joseph’s Medical Center, South Bend, after an illness.  Mr. Six retired in 1974 from South Bend Lathe and also had been employed by the Studebaker Corp.

He was born November 22, 1910, in North Liberty and was a lifelong area resident.  On April 27, 1933, he married Eunice Martin.  She died January 5, 1986.  He is survived by a daughter, Rosalee A Miltenberger of Osceola; a son, John W Jr of Waco TX; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; five sisters, Rhoene Shoemaker, Juanita Malkowski and Florence Holderbaum, all of North Liberty, Hazel Reed of Walkerton and Eva Kloth of Dorr MI; and two brothers, Russell of Baldwin MI and Charles G. of Walkerton.

Services will be at 11am Saturday in A.M. Manuel Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery.  Friends may call form 1 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Friday in the funeral home.
