SOUTH BEND - Services for Florence E. Skarich, 72, of Lucinda Street, who died at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday in Memorial Hospital after an illness, will be at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Monica's Catholic Church, Mishawaka. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, where a wake will be at 2:30 p.m.

Mrs. Skarich retired from Indiana Vocational Technical College-Northcentral as business manager after 18 years of service. She was born Dec. 23, 1921, in Mishawaka, and was a lifelong area resident.

On June 29, 1940, in Mishawaka, as Florence E. Baker, she married Pius F. Skarich. He died Jan. 21, 1983. She is survived by four sons, Pius F. Jr. of South Bend, Anton of Flint, Mich., Fred L. of St. Paul, Minn., and Mark of Milwaukee; 10 grandchildren; and a brother, Fred Baker of South Bend.
