Lillie Louise Skinner

SOUTH BEND - Services for Lillie Louise Skinner, 80, of 1321 N. Brookfield St., who died at 5 p.m. Sunday in her home, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Olivet A.M.E. Church. Entombment will be in

Riverview Mausoleum. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today in Alford's Mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to Kidney Foundation of St. Joseph County.

 

Mrs. Skinner retired in 1974 from Northern Indiana Children's Hospital as a nurse and in 1957 from St. Joseph's Medical Center. She was born March 7, 1913, in Knoxville, Tenn., and lived in South Bend for 46 years, coming from Ypsilanti, Mich.

 

On Aug. 23, 1943, in Bisbee, Ariz., she married Dr. John W. Skinner. He survives with two daughters, Brenda J. Wilson of Philadelphia and Carol D. Skinner of Albuquerque, N.M.; two sons, Phillip H. of Fort Worth, Texas, and Leonard E. of South Bend; and seven grandchildren. She was a veteran

of World War II.
