   Christian Smith, of Warren Township, one of our old settlers, was stricken with paralysis on Saturday morning last, while out attending to his morning chores.  He laid out some three quarters of an hour before he was discovered, and when found was unconscious, and remained so until his death, which occurred at 2 o'clock on Monday morning.  Mr. Smith was 67 years of age and had been in the County some thirty-four years.  He was much respected by all who knew him, for his honest, upright dealings and unimpeachable integrity.
