Genieve P. Smith

Mrs. Genieve P. (Raab) Smith, 62, formerly of Mishawaka and most recently of Montgomery, Ala., died at 8:30 p.m. Friday in Maxwell Air Force Base Hospital, Montgomery. She had been ill two months. She was born in Mishawaka Oct. 31, 1913. She had lived in Mishawaka until 1941, when she moved to Greenfield, Mass. She had lived on Montgomery since 1973.

 

She was married in 1931 in St. Joseph Church, Mishawaka, to Albert H. Smith. Surviving are her stepfather, Maurice Boone of Mishawaka; and a son James H., a captain in the Air Force in Alabama.

 

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in DeVos Funeral Chapel, Mishawaka, which is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Heart Fund of St. Joseph County

Services for Mrs. Genieve P. (Raab) Smith, 62, of Montgomery, Ala., formerly of Mishawaka, who died Friday in the Maxwell AFB Hospital in Montomgery, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Church. Msgr. Kurt A. Suelzer, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

 

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Devoss Funeral Chapel, where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday
