Robert P. Snyder, age 67, of South Bend, died at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday in Saint Joseph's Regional Medical Center. He was born March 15, 1932, in Everett, Massachusetts, and lived in this area since 1954, coming from Buchanan, Michigan. Mr. Snyder retired from Tyler Refrigeration Corporation.
On August 7, 1954, in South Bend, he married Sylvia Toth, who preceded him in death on Feb. 7, 1999. Surviving is a son, Ron Snyder and his wife, Sue of Mishawaka; and one sister, Betty Glotzbach of Florida.
Family and friends may call from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a Rosary will be said at 6:00 p.m. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday in St. Stephen Catholic Church, with burial to follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Mr. Snyder was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church.
