Maude E. Solbrig

SOUTH BEND - Maude E. Solbrig, 90, of U.S. 33 North, died at 6 p.m. Sunday in University of Michigan Medical Center, Ann Arbor. Mrs. Solbrig was born Feb. 23, 1905, in Bristol, Tenn., and lived in South Bend since 1923. On Oct. 15, 1927, in South Bend, as Maude E. Vance, she married Hardin Elsby Solbrig. He died in 1982. She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Spaid of Ann Arbor; a son, Charles V. of Elwood City, Pa.; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Roseland Club, The Progress Club and Literary Club, Niles.
