Brother Rembert “Oscar” Sorg CSC, 85, of Dujarie House, died Saturday in his residence. He served at St. Joseph Novitiate at Rolling Prairie, Ind.; St. Joseph of the Cross Juniorate at Valatie, NY; Sacred Hear Juniorate at Watertown, Wis.; Ave Maria Press at Notre Dame; Columba Hall at Notre Dame; Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, Calif.; Moreau High School in Hayward, Calif.; and St. Anthony High School in Long Beach, Calif. He was born May, 16, 1905 in Allen County, Ind. Survivors include a sister, Sister Mary Margaret Sorg SP of St. Mary of the Wood, Ind.

Services will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Chapel of Holy Cross Brothers Center. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery also at the Brothers Center. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Chapel, where a wake will be at 7:30 p.m.
