Walter G. Spansail

Nov. 25, 1903 - July 19, 1998

Mr. Walter George Spansail, 94, passed away on Sunday, July 19, at the Palm Garden Nursing Home in Winter Haven, Fla.

He was born on Nov. 25, 1903, in Chicago, Ill., and later moved to Niles, Mich., where he owned and operated his own gasoline station. In June 1989 he moved once again and resided in Winter Haven until his passing away.

A very sociable person, he was a member of the B.P.O.E., Loyal Order of Moose and the Eagles throughout the course of his life.

Mr. Spansail was preceded in death by his loving wife, Leonora F. Spansail; a son, Ronald F. Spansail; his daughter, Norma Spansail; three grandsons, Robert Spansail of Decatur, Mich., William Spansail of Elkhart, Ind., and Walter Spansail of South Bend, Ind.; two granddaughters, Patricia Yeager and Linda Carter, both of South Bend; and by 14 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, July 24, at the Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, 2198 K-Ville Avenue, Auburndale, Fla.
