Veronica Sparazynski

Jan. 13, 1918-Feb. 12, 1994

SOUTH BEND - Veronica Sparazynski, 76, of South Phillipa Street, died at 2:41 p.m. Saturday in St. Joseph's Medical Center of natural causes. Mrs. Sparazynski retired from St. Joseph's Medical Center.

She was born Jan. 13, 1918, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident. On Oct. 6, 1940, in South Bend, as Veronica Majcher, she married Vincent Sparazynski. He died in 1973. She is survived by three daughters, Mary Ann Collins of South Bend, Sylvia Cass of Walnut, Calif., and Leona Fisher of Mesa, Ariz.; two sons, Bernard of South Bend and Eugene of McKinney, Texas; 12 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; three sisters, Henrietta Pinter, Clementine Wrobel and Mary Sparazynski, all of South Bend; and a brother, Henry Majcher of South Bend. She was a member of Legion of Mary, Felician Sisters Auxiliary, Rosary Society, Grandmothers, and Harvest House, all of St. Adalbert's Catholic Church and Grandmother's Club.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a rosary will be said at 3 p.m. by Harvest House and a parish rosary at 7:30 p.m.
