Matilda M. Springman

Jan. 18, 1917 - May 19, 2001

On this Beautiful day in May, our beloved mother went to live with our Lord and Savior. On arrival, all of their loved ones met her to welcome her home.

She was born to Margaret and Alvin Cabanaw, who preceded her in death. She became the wife of Robert H. Springman and together they had six children; Edith M. (John) Gautier of South Bend, Indiana, Nancy Bray of Mishawaka, Patricia Koblick of South Bend, Indiana, Joan (Tom) Powell of Mishawaka, Robert (Bonnie) Springman of Rome City, Indiana and Marcella (William) Brown of Mishawaka. She is also survived by two sisters; Anna Gade of Bronson, Michigan and Neoma (Don) Morrow of South Bend, Indiana and one brother; Robert Cabanaw of South Bend. She was preceded in death by two sisters; Dorothy Helm and Dolly Hite and two brothers; Frank and Alvin Cabanaw. She had twelve grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews she loved.

Funeral services for Mrs. Springman will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka where friends will be received from 4 until 8 p.m. Monday. Burial will follow the services Tuesday at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the Donors Choice
