Sister Mary Goldeline CSC, of the Sisters of Holy Cross, died Friday afternoon in Saint Mary’s Convent after an illness of several years. She was born Rosiana Veronica Stachowicz in Chicago in 1875. She was educated at St. Stanislaus Parish in Chicago and entered the Sisters of the Holy Cross in 1891, making her profession of final vows in 1897. During her community life she was stationed at Michigan City and South Bend; Ogden and Salt Lake City in Utah; and St. Angela’s Academy in Morris, Ill. Surviving is a niece Sister M. Alphonsia of Chicago.

A requiem high mass was offered this morning in the Church of Our Lady or Loretto at St. Mary’s. Burial will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery , on the campus, Sunday morning. Friends may call in the convent parlor.
