Aug. 7, 1940 - April 25, 2010OSCEOLA - Nancy G. Stafford, 69, of Osceola, Indiana, passed away at 12:09 p.m. Sunday, April 25, 2010, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. She was born on August 7, 1940, in Mishawaka, Indiana, to the late Richard and Agnes (Takach) Bonne. On November 22, 1959, in South Bend, Indiana, she married James W. Stafford Sr., who preceded her in death on June 2, 2009, in Elkhart, IN. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Riddle. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Tina L. (Steve Conches) Stafford of Osceola, IN; son, James W. (Betty Sink) Stafford Jr. of Osceola, IN; brothers, Jerry (Brenda) Griffin of Howe, IN and Richard (Trish) Bonne of Niles, MI. Nancy enjoyed taking care of her family and her dog. She will miss her dog Prince very much. She enjoyed camping at Camp Wildwood with her family and sister and going on vacation to Florida with her son Jim and Betty to see the ocean and the sand. She loved being outside smelling fresh air and working in her flower garden. To our loving mother, what a wonderful time we all shared together. The pain and suffering is no longer with you. You will always be remembered and you were the sunshine of our lives. Nancy was the most kind, caring and loving person you could ever meet. We will all miss you and your smile and your kind heart. Never did a day go by when you were in a bad mood, no matter what kind of pain you were in, you could lift a smile from all of us. We love you mom and will miss you dearly. Mom, I'm glad we were so close, you were the one I would turn to for advice, you were the teacher who answered all my questions and the friend who heard all my problems. You're the angel who brings me love and happiness and shares with me my joys. Thank you mom for all you have done and for all that I have become. There will be no services or visitation. Elkhart Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
