Raymond R. Stajkowski, 69, of 18671 Cleveland Road, South Bend, Ind., passed away at 12:35 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 4, in Memorial Hospital. He was born on Aug. 2, 1933, in South Bend, to Stanley and Stella (Lechtanski) Stajkowski, who preceded him in death. One sister, Irene V. Stajkowski, is also deceased.

On Oct. 7, 1961, in South Bend, he married Betty Lou Baker, who passed away on Nov. 11, 1994. Raymond is survived by a daughter, Amy Stajkowski of South Bend; two sisters, Angela Stajkowski and Dorothy Weesner, both of South Bend; and two brothers, Ben Stajkowski of South Bend and Jerome Stajkowski of Elkhart, Ind.

He retired in 1995 from A.M. General. He was discharged in 1957 from the U.S. Navy.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, Feb. 6, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road. A Rosary will be prayed at 4:30 p.m. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 7, in the funeral home. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Lung Association.
