CHARLEY E. STANLEY
Charley E. Stanley, 79, of 2416 W. Indiana Ave., died Thursday afternoon at the Americana Nursing Home. Born Nov. 29, 1893, in Elkhart,
he married Mary R. Whittaker Sept. 4, 1915, in Elkhart. She survives.

Also surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Robert (Rita) Struble, Mrs. Thelma Gilbert, Mrs. LeRoy (Phyllis) Ott and Mrs. Larry (Gayle) Miller, all of
Elkhart, Mrs. Leonard (Eva) Bickenstaff, Valparaiso, and Mrs. Lamar (Marilyn) Dickey, Jenkins, Minn.; four sons, Charles Jr., Merle E., Frederick
A. and James D., all of Elkhart; 25 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, George and Fred, both of Elkhart, and two sisters,
Mrs. Lee (Gladys) Brand, Toledo, Ohio and Mrs. Gertrude Rittenhouse, Mishawaka.

Friends may call today at the Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home where services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Lester L. Zimmerman, of
the First Church of the Nazarene will officiate. Burial will be in Osceola Cemetery.

Mr. Stanley retired from the New York Central Railroad in 1957 after 49 years as a machinist. He was a member of the I.A. of M. (International
Association of Machinists).
