SOUTH BEND - Elaine Stark, 80, of
Grandview Avenue, died at 7:48 a.m. Tuesday in Caylor-Nickle
Hospital, Bluffton, Ind. Mrs. Stark was born July 25, 1915, in
South Bend.
On Oct. 14, 1939, in South Bend, as Elaine Darling,
she married Theodore Stark. He died in 1971. Surviving are a
daughter, Karen Lebo of South Bend; two grandchildren; and
two brothers, Gerald Darling of South Bend and George Darling of
Dallas. She was a member of Ardmore Brethren Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Forest
G. Hay Funeral Home, 1201 S. Michigan St. Burial will be in Mount
Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8
p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
