Margaret Starkweather

Margaret Starkweather, 47, of Alpharetta, Ga., died on Sunday, Dec. 3, in North Fulton Regional Hospital, Roswell, Ga. She was born in Mishawaka, Ind., on April 23, 1953, to William Earl Browning, who preceded her in death, and her mother, Esther Browning, who survives.

 

On May 11, 1974, she was married to Alan Starkweather in South Bend, Ind. He survives. She is also survived by a daughter, Amy (John) Mayes of Indianapolis, Ind.; a son, Jason Starkweather of Indianapolis; a grandchild, Skylar Mayes of Indianapolis; a sister, Cora Sue (Marvin) Colley of Mill Creek, Ind.; three brothers, Bill (Leona) Browning of Fort Wayne, Ind., Chuck (Martha) Browning of Elkhart, Ind., and Ron (Sue) Browning of Wolf Lake, Ind. Mrs. Starkweather was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and sister-in-law, who loved angels and has now received her wings.

 

Family and friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 6, in the ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend. A Rosary will be said at 4 p.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home. Services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 7, in Holy Family Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children's Memorial Hospital, 50 S.
