Sister M. Julitta CSC, 78, of the Sisters of Holy Cross, died Sunday in Saint Mary’s Convent. She was born Sarah Agnes Steinbrunner in Victoria, Ohio in 1888. She received her early education in Burkettsville, Ohio, and entered the Sister of the Holy Cross in 1914, and received the habit that same year. She made her profession of vows in 1916. During her community life she was stationed at St. John’s Hospital, Anderson, Ind.; Washington DC; Baltimore: Woodstock, Ill.; Danville and Marris, Ill.; Danville, Ill.; Notre Dame; LaPorte; South Bend; Elkhart; and Hammond. Her most recent assignment was at the Provincial House in South Bend. She came to St. Mary’s Convent several weeks ago.

The requiem high mass will be offered at the Church of Our Lady of Loretto on St. Mary’s campus at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery on the campus. Friends may call at the convent parlor.
