Marlene A. Steiner, 62, of South Bend IN passed away on Thursday, October 5, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend IN.

 

She was born on May 3, 1938, in Pittsburgh PA, to the late Theodore Kaczmarek and Marie (Ralicki) Kaczmarek of South Bend.

 

Mrs. Steiner retired from CVS Pharmacy after 32 years of service, and was currently employed with the Varsity Shop at Notre Dame.  She was a member of St. John the Baptist parish.

 

On January 5, 1963, she married Ronald Steiner who survives.  Also, surviving is a daughter, Susan (Ronald) VanTornhout of South Bend; two sons, Scott and Todd Steiner, both of South Bend; and granddaughters, Emily and Allison VanTornhout.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am on Monday, October 9, in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.  Friends may call form 2 to 8pm on Sunday, October 8, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N.
